May. 03, 2021

WHAT: Due to the millions of dollars of personal protective equipment (PPE) currently being stored at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, the 65th Keystone International Livestock Exhibition (KILE) Show, which is scheduled for Oct.1-10, may not take place. Exhibition organizers have yet to receive a definitive answer from the Department of Agriculture or the Wolf administration. A decision on whether to hold the 2021 show could come as early as this week, but as of today the Farm Show building is still full of PPE. This lack of planning and decision making on the part of the administration is putting KILE and many other events in jeopardy.

WHO: Rep. Dave Zimmerman (R-Lancaster); House Agriculture Committee Chairman Dan Moul (R-Gettysburg), a group of 4-H kids and other supportive House members.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 4, at 3:30 p.m.

WHERE: Ryan Office Building atrium, Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.

WATCH LIVE: Barring technical difficulties the hearing will be live-streamed at RepZimmerman.com.
